Cleaning for a Reason Foundation ("Foundation") is excited to announce that Pronto Cleaning Solutions LLC has become one of its partners. The Foundation is the nation’s first non-profit organization dedicated to providing free house cleaning services for people undergoing cancer treatment.
Kelly Allison, President/Owner of Pronto Cleaning Solutions ("Pronto"), is no stranger to the challenges facing a person with cancer. Kelly has an aunt in her native Colombia who is fighting cancer and her mother in-law is a breast cancer survivor. Pronto helps cancer patients through difficult times by providing house cleaning services to Bay Area residents who are going through cancer treatment.
Pronto is the first cleaning company in Walnut Creek to join the Foundation. Monthly financial pledges by companies such as Pronto help fund the Foundation’s operations while the companies themselves provide free house cleaning to cancer patients.
“It feels really good to be able to give a helping hand to someone who is going through the toughest challenge of their life, especially in these tough economic times. In this era of dwindling monetary donations to charities, it is gratifying to put in a few extra hours a week to help someone in need, and to give something of real value back to the community that allows us to be successful.” (Kelly Allison)
Pronto has officially introduced its involvement with Foundation and is overwhelmed by the positive, enthusiastic response it has received from clients and the community.
Debbie Sardone, Founder of the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation, said, “Maid services have been doing this in small ways for years. Foundation partners, such as Kelly Allison/Pronto, have had a hard time turning down a patient battling cancer and who cannot afford to pay for house cleaning services. I decided to form a foundation so that we could extend support across the entire country.”
